The Classic Smile - Services

The Classic Smile is a full service dental practice, which offers reconstructive, supportive and cosmetic dentistry such as bonding, in-office power bleaching, tooth colored braces and other services mentioned on our web site.

Our art is performed with state of the art technology such as micro abrasion, which is less invasive than a high speed drill. Treatment can take less time, and often without the need for anesthesia.

Other technologies we use are intra and extra oral digital X-rays, which greatly reduce the level of radiation and yet provide instant and detailed images. We use digital photographic examinations that are 35 times the magnification of eyes alone, which greatly increase the accuracy of diagnosis and allows for the patient to see what we see.

We are equipped with the most sophisticated sterilization equipment and all of our team members are trained in a five-point protocol for disinfecting and sterilizing instruments. Our treatment rooms are equipped with a sterile water supply in place of the city water.

Our esthetic and restorative services include:

  • In-Office Power Teeth Whitening

What is Invisalign®?

Invisalign Preferred ProviderInvisalign® is the invisible way to straighten your teeth without braces.
Invisalign® uses a series of clear, removable aligners to straighten
your teeth without metal wires or brackets
Invisalign® has been proven effective in clinical research and in
orthodontic practices nationwide.

How Does Invisalign® Work?

You wear each set of aligners for about 2 weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss.
As you replace each aligner with the next in the series, your teeth will move little by little, week by week - until they have straightened to the their final position

You'll visit us about once every 6 weeks to ensure that your treatment is progressing as planned.
Total treatment time averages 9 - 15 months and the average number of aligners during treatment is between 18 - 30, but both will vary from case to case.

How Are Aligners Made? You'd Be Amazed...

The aligners are made through a combination of our expertise and 3-D computer imaging technology.

Why CEREC?
CEREC by Sirona Dental Systems is the world's only system for the fabrication of all ceramic dental restorations in one office visit. With CEREC at your dentist's side, you can be in and out in a single visit with a permanent, all ceramic crown, onlay, or veneer! For you, the patient, this means fewer injections, less drilling, and less time out of your hectic schedule for dental care.

KöR Whitening Deep Bleaching is the newest, most revolutionary and effective teeth whitening system ever developed. Unlike typical teeth whitening procedures:

  • KöR Whitening is so effective; it is the only recognized system in the world that will even whiten tetracycline (dark) stained teeth, previously thought to be impossible.
  • With easy periodic at-home maintenance your teeth will stay white permanently, even while you continue to drink red wine, tea, coffee etc.
  • During the whitening process nearly all patients experience only low to typically no teeth sensitivity.

This procedure is comfortable and 100% safe for your teeth and gums. The result is a radiantly white, natural appearing smile that you will LOVE! It's perfect for everyone, from 14 to 90!To learn more go to http://www.korwhitening.com/consumer/welcome

 Dental Implants
We will work with an implant specialist to create an implant for a missing single tooth, missing multiple teeth, or replace a removable appliance.

 Teeth Bleaching
Our state-of-the-art, in-office Power Bleaching system will make your teeth whiter in less than 1.5 hours. Another option is our home bleaching system you take with you for results in 2 weeks. You can also consider a combination program of both systems for optimal, long-term results.

Crowns and Veneers
You can have a new smile with all-porcelain crowns (empressed material) on the anterior teeth. For the posterior, we use porcelain fused to metal.

Fillings: Resin
Tooth-colored filings that are light cures to match your teeth. Amalgam: Silver-colored filings, more durable material.

Root Canals
We perform root canals on anterior and premolar teeth.

Periodontal Treatment
You should have a standard cleaning at least twice a year. A periodontal treatment includes an Adult Prophy (basic cleaning). If it has been over a year since your last cleaning, possible treatment will include either Periodontal Scaling (deeper) or Root Planning and Scaling (requires anesthetic).

Mouth Guards
Whether you are an athlete or casual sports participant, you should wear a mouth guard to protect your teeth. If you grind your teeth while you sleep, a bite guard will help reduce symptoms of TMJ. We custom make mouth guards in both soft and hard materials

.Removable Dental Prosthesis
For missing teeth, we can make dentures or removable partials for you.

Tooth Colored Fillings

Composite fillings - Composite fillings are a mixture of acrylic resin and finely ground glasslike particles that produce a tooth-colored restoration. Composite fillings provide good durability and resistance to fracture in small-to-mid size restorations that need to withstand moderate chewing pressure. Less tooth structure is removed when the dentist prepares the tooth, and this may result in a smaller filling than that of an amalgam. Composites can also be "bonded" or adhesively held in a cavity, often allowing the dentist to make a more conservative repair to the tooth. In teeth where chewing loads are high, composite fillings are less resistant to wear than silver amalgams. It also takes longer to place a composite filling.
